Diane Goldsmith

Chief Executive Officer

Diane Goldsmith is the owner of Superior Text and purchased the company in March, 2020 after working for the organization for three years. The company spirit embodies her personal values of "Always do the Right Thing" and "We Care about our Customers." Serving the needs of those who educate is Diane's sole purpose. She joined the educational sales industry 30 years ago and has held every position imaginable working for several educational sales organizations. Although her background is in accounting and finance Diane's passion is in sales and service. Developing creative solutions and creating long lasting partnerships within the public school education space is her expertise. Any challenge can be overcome with proper planning and implementation. Diane resides in Birmingham, Alabama with her husband, two daughters and three 4-legged babies. She enjoys anything outdoors, including water sports and gardening.

Juli Hubbard

Chief Operating Officer

Juli Hubbard joined Superior Text in 2020. Juli has a breadth of knowledge and experience as she has spent over 20 years in the educational materials industry leading teams in sales, book purchasing, inventory management, operations, Human Resources, and Training. Juli's passion is developing an internal company culture that is focused on developing employees to be able to delight customers. Process improvement is a love and supporting Superior Text in the growth of our business is very exciting. Juli has an undergraduate degree from Western Illinois University and her Masters in Human Resources from Keller Graduate School of Management. Juli lives with her family in the Chicagoland area. In her spare time Juli loves to travel internationally. She also loves concerts, movies, and the theatre.

Robert Gray

Director of Development and IT

Robert Gray serves as the Director of Development and IT for Superior Text. He has been with the company for nearly 14 years, with the majority of that time spent as the head of operations. He loves to work with both customers and vendors and believes that a great customer experience begins with open and honest communication. Robert graduated from James Madison College at Michigan State University in 2002 with a degree in Political Economy. He and his wife Caroline live in Ann Arbor, MI with their two children. Robert is an avid music lover and amatuer musician who (pre-pandemic) built up an impressive list of artists he'd seen perform live. These days, he can be found developing his handyman skills working on his 90-year old home and growing ingredients in the garden for his wife's amazing homemade pizza.

Mike Ehinger

Director of Operations

Mike and his wife Cara founded Superior Text in 1997. Although they recently sold the company, Mike continues to serve as a member of our leadership team. In June 2020, Mike retired from his 25 years as a public school teacher. Our purpose at Superior Text is stated as "Serving those who educate". Mike lives that purpose every day by creating the best customer experience possible with the amazing Superior Text team. Having been an educator, Mike knows the pain points educators experience - too much to do, too little time, not enough resources, etc. Mike helps solve those issues in a timely, cost-effective way that gets the most out of their resources and allows them to spend more time offering a great education to their students. Mike has a Bachelors in Economics from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Secondary Curriculum from Eastern Michigan University. When not working Mike enjoys golf, swimming, cooking, and reading, and coaching high school basketball. He and his wife Cara live in Superior Township and have 8 children, many of whom have worked for the company.

Terri Simpson

Director of Finance

Terri is the owner operator of Keep It Simple Strategies, a business specializing in Operational Consulting and Accounting Services. Terri joined Superior Text with over 25 years of Business Management in a Corporate Setting. Her background is in the Automotive and Aerospace Industries which brings a fresh prospective to the team. She is a key contributor on the Superior Text executive team to support the development and growth of our business. Terri believes that when you are successful, we are successful! Her goal is to assist others in finding and maintaining their work-life balance. Terri lives in Pioneer, Ohio with her husband, their oldest granddaughter and 4.5 fur-babies. She enjoys spending time with their grandkids (they have 10), relaxing with a good book or just taking a walk.

James Blievernicht

Account Representative-Missouri

James started his career in the educational industry through an internship while attending college at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. After graduating with his business degree, James accepted an account management position in the greater Cincinnati area. James has work accounts throughout the Midwest. James joined Superior Text in the summer of 2020. He is our Account Representative for sales and book buying in Missouri. James also our textbook recycle program in the Southeast. When James' is not working, he enjoys spending time on the farm with his father or fishing and hunting in Southern Illinois.

Greg Cabo

National Account Manager, Florida, Cook County and Chicago Public Schools

Greg Cabo is an accomplished sales professional with over ten years of experience in the K-12 education market. His personalized service, combined with his enthusiasm for delivering innovative and value-driven solutions, provides maximum value to his clients and students. Greg has his M.A. from the University of Illinois at Springfield and his B.A. from Michigan State University (go Spartans)! He is fluent in Croatian and loves to travel the globe but is happiest when at home with his wife and daughter

Sue Carlson

Sales Support

Sue Carlson has worked in the textbook industry for over 13 years. Her passion for customer service and relationship building has made her successful in both aspects of the purchasing and selling processes. When not working, travelling the world is her number one priority.

Mark Caruthers

Account Manager- Southern California

Mark Caruthers has sold textbooks and educational materials for over 25 years. Mark traveled throughout the United States for various national trade shows, selling textbooks to major college bookstores throughout America. Once he joined the K-12 market, Mark focused his services on the midwest and California. Currently, Mark provides top notch service to small and large districts throughout Southern California. Mark is an avid golfer. An interesting fact about Mark is that he holds the 2000 Tornado Foosball World Championship top 100 rookie singles in Dallas, Texas. He is ranked 78th in the world!

Patrick Cronin

Account Manager- Michigan, Ohio, Georgia, New York

Patrick Cronin is a successful and highly motivated professional with 18+ years experience in K-12 consultative and solution sales. Patrick has a vast knowledge of textbook and classroom supplemental book programs. He partners with clients in providing cost-saving classroom content that helps student achievement and teacher effectiveness. Patrick is married with two dogs and resides in the western suburbs of Chicago. He enjoys cycling, kayaking, and traveling.

Oz de Paula

Account Manager - Northern California, Washington, Oregon, Texas

Oz de Paula has over 18 years experience in the textbook business focused on both the selling and buying of educational materials. He is loyal to his customers and passionate about placing books in the hands of students. Oz attended Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. He is married with two daughters and lives in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. Oz has an very diverse background and is a super interesting conversationalist. He enjoys movies, dancing and cruises.

Jake Fritz

Account Executive - Northern California, Washington, Oregon, and Arizona

Jake Fritz is our Account Executive for Northern California, Oregon,Washington, and Arizona. Jake joined us with over 5 years of experience working with Northern California school districts providing textbook needs and services. Jake believes in the value of certified, pre-owned materials and helps customers manage inventory, budgets and deadlines. He is very excited to support your school and school districts with budgets and deadlines. Jake was raised in Bellevue, Washington and has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2015. Jake played Division 2 lacrosse for and is a proud graduate of Dominican University of California. He enjoys biking, golfing, and surfing with his friends on the weekend.

Jon Goldsmith

Account Manager - Arizona

Jonathan Goldsmith, originally from Birmingham, Alabama, is one of our International Employees working from Lima, Peru. Jonathan's adventurous spirit led him to Peru where he married his wife and fathered two wonderful boys. Before moving to Peru, Jonathan worked in the warehouse of a textbook company before running a small textbook resale business out of his garage. With more than 15 years experience in sales and customer service, combined with his experience in the textbook industry, Jonathan is dedicated to ensuring his clients are well taken care of.

Chris Hubbard

Account Executive- Project Manager- Illinois, NW Indiana, New Jersey

Chris Hubbard joined Superior Text with 10 years of book buyback and account executive experience. He has a passion for process improvement, enjoys working on company projects, and is our Customer Star Rewards administrator. Chris supports Illinois (DuPage, Kane, and Will counties), Indiana Lake county, and New Jersey buyback activities. Chris attended University of Kentucky. In his spare time, Chris enjoys volunteering, playing hockey and a round of golf.

Ken Kibler

Director of Strategic Accounts Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana

Ken Kibler is Superior Text's Director of Strategic Accounts. Ken joined the company with nearly three decades of service in the educational sales industry. Ken has a vast amount of knowledge in book buying, selling and recycling. Ken has worked to provide solutions for district-wide reading initiatives, classroom content and advanced academic needs. He partners with clients to develop cost savings solutions while providing an exemplary level of service. Ken is a proud graduate of Purdue University where he recently obtained his MBA. Ken lives with his wife, Bridget, in Southern Illinois. Ken has horses and enjoys the company of their three dogs.

John Kosic

Account Executive Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota

John Kosic joins Superior Text as an Account Executive after a successful decade in the K-12 marketplace. His extensive knowledge of textbooks, new-used and out of print,has been an asset to his districts in the buying, selling and the partnering of inventory management solutions. John is a Depaul University BA graduate, with a secondary degree in International Business from Benedictine University. He enjoys spending free time with his wife and five kids, hiking, and travelling to Canada and Croatia visiting his and his spouse's families.

Jayson Love

New Business Development New Jersey

Jayson Love is one of our New Business Development Associates focused in New Jersey. He holds an MA in Education from New York University, Steinhardt School of Education, Culture and Human Development and a BA from Rutgers University. Jayson has over 10 years experience teaching and working within education in New York and New Jersey. He has experience working with school districts helping provide educational materials and buyback solutions. Jayson enjoys writing, golfing, movies and is an avid sports fan.

Terry Lundstrom

New Business Development

Terry Lundstrom is our New Business Development Associate. Terry joins Superior Text with 24 years of experience working for textbook publishers and resellers as a successful sales rep and in marketing and services. Terry earned her B.A. from Northern Illinois University and M.A. from North Central College. Terry is passionate about education in all stages of life and believes we should always be learning! Terry lives in the western suburbs of Chicago and enjoys spending time with her three children, their spouses and her 10 grandchildren.

Kevin Moran

Account Manager - Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota

Kevin joins Superior Text with more than 20 years of knowledge and diverse cross-functional business experience including 10+ years serving the K-12 industry, leading international software implementation, and founding a technology based food delivery platform serving thousands of people each week. Kevin enjoys building relationships, delivering value and believes there is a solution available for challenge. He has an undergraduate degree from Illinois State University and ann MBA from National Louis University. Kevin lives in the Chicagoland western suburbs with his wife and 2 children. He coaches baseball, softball, supports Scouting Programs and is a SBA Certified Mentor providing free mentorship to aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners.

Lexi Olinder

Account Executive- Southern California, Nevada

Lexi began her career in K-12 educational sales over 10 years ago as a summer intern while in college at San Francisco State. Her dedication and commitment to her customers led to a full-time position where she excelled as a sales leader. Over the last 9 years, Lexi has had increasing responsibilities and opportunites to work with key district leaders. She loves helping customers find creative solutions while meeting their budget needs. Lexi was born and raised in San Diego and can be found traveling when shes not working. When home, she also enjoys cooking and entertaining friends and family. Lexi is looking forward to working hard to help solve curriculum needs with a full array of educational products and textbook buybacks in Southern California.

Kathy Moushon

Account Manager- Texas, Illinois, Louisiana, Florida

Kathy Moushon is one of our very experienced Account Managers. She has been in the K-12 education industry for 15 years providing excellent customer service to school districts. Kathy is passionate about providing customers the best experience and maximizing value. Kathy was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. She and her husband, Aaron, still live in the same area. They have four daughters, and three grandchildren!

Paul Patti

Director Dual Enrollment Sales Account Executive - Texas & Louisiana

Paul Patti is our Director of Dual Enrollment. With over 25 years of experience in educational sales and service, Paul is responsible for the developoment and growth of our Dual Enrollment department, overseeing the entire process through the procurement, management, and fulfillment of dual enrollment district orders. Additionally, Paul continues to provide buyback services while ensuring overall client satisfaction in the Texas and Louisiana territories. Paul is an accomplished sales professional with extensive knowledge specific to instructional materials and the state adoption cycle. Paul is a graduate of Texas A&M. Paul, his wife, and two children are residents of College Station. When not working, Paul enjoys tailgating with friends, woodworking, photography, and model railroading.

Mike Stump

Account Executive - Michigan & Ohio

Mike Stump is our Ohio/Michigan Account Executive, joining Superior Text with over 20 years experience in the educational environment. Mike brings a unique insight to working with schools and school districts to support their educational needs including book buying, selling and recycling. In addition to Mike's educational experience, he worked in a school district handling procurement, disposal of educational materials and asset management. Mike looks forward to applying his experience to create unique solutions that directly impact your educational processes. Mike is a proud father of two and presently resides in North Central Ohio. On weekends, you will often find him and his wife, Michele, taking long rides on his motorcycle.

Allison Warbington

Account Manager

Allison Warbington joined Superior Text from the fashion industry. She operated a private boutique in Atlanta for almost 20 years before moving to Isla Mujeres, MX to pursue new adventures. Although her career has changed, she still does what she loves, which is working with customers! Being able to help customers obtain their professional needs by providing personalized and top notch customer service is what Allison thrives on! Although she has only been with Superior Text for three years, she enjoys educational sales and learns something new about the industry daily. She loves how logistics, in conjunction with how our customers operate their schools and districts, can truly make magic for the students! Allison studied Business Management at the University of Mississippi. She enjoys spending time with her husband and anything outdoors - kayaking, swimming, and meeting new people that visit the island!

Brenda Willer

Brenda Willer is a successful and highly motivated professional with 13 years’ experience in K-12 textbook industry. Brenda has a vast knowledge of textbook and classroom products. She is passionate about providing our customers the best service possible. Brenda is married and has three adult children and two grandchildren. She enjoys quilting in her free time.

Staci Lawrence

Human Resources Manager

Staci Lawrence serves at the Human Resources Manager for Superior Text. Staci's career in HR began in state government in 1995, followed by years of experience in law firms and church ministry in the metro Atlanta area. Staci is passionate about people and looks forward to helping them on their career journey. One of our core values is "We care about each other", and Staci lives by that value in everything she does - both personally and professionally. Staci lives in the Atlanta area with her husband and four children. Singing, camping, and watching her kids in their activities are just a few of the things Staci enjoys outside of her work at Superior Text!
